
Library –
Library is an essential component in the student
centric education system. It is one of the very vital infrastructures
to accelerate teaching process. Our college library is the repository
01 large number of books and other collections. At present there
are 1600 title books for B.Ed Course. Educational journals of International
& National level and 4 daily news papers are readily available
for the students. The library is housed in two separate rooms with
the capacity to accommodate 80 students. The research encyclopedia,
research Magazines are kept separately for the study.

Laboratory
Because of advancement in Science and Technology
several Technology gadgets emerged to disseminate information to
the students. Our college has updated Education Technology with
the following accessories.

Computer Laboratory
Our computer Lab has well organized computer room
having 20 hi speed new version computers and Internet facility in
the Lab. The provision has been provided to the aspirants to browse
the internet and to procure information related to their study.
Psychology Laboratory
Psychology Lab is having the necessary instruments
and paper pencil tests necessary for the B.Ed.
Science Laboratory
The science Lab consists of all the related instruments
like models of AC and DC motor, Solar cooker and solar kit, OHP
sheets, specimens. Optical fibers, charts etc in addition to they
equipments diagrammed and other useful resources are ready available
for the students teachers to demonstrate the concepts practically
to the students.
Language Laboratory
The language Lab in Kannada and English is enriches
with various resources. These includes books related to subject,
grammar books, dictionaries, collected folk songs books, life history
of local authors, poets some grammar related CD’s cassettes
etc.
History Repository
History Repository consists of related bokks,
charts, model’s, albums of collected coins and stamps etc
and those materials are preserved by the college to fulfill the
needs of teacher trainees.
Sports Facilities
Sports materials for the conduct of Indoor and
outdoor activities are in college to provide experience to the students
Mass Drill and Yoga education is provided to fulfill the course
requirements.

1. Citizenship Training
Camp
As the part of the B.Ed training programme it
is mandatory for the teacher trainees to participate in the Annual
citizenship Training Camp.
Objectives
1.To inculcate human values among the students.
2.To internalize self discipline, cultural outlook & work
efficiency among the students.
3.To imbibe environmental awareness and conscience in the students.
4.To enthuse the cultural heritage of India.
To integrate patriotism, secularism, Democratic out look and National
Integration among the students.
2. Environmental Studies
As a part of the curriculum the programmes on Environmental Education
is conducted vividly.
Objectives
1. To develop the awareness and conscience for
the protection of environment.
2. To undertake measures to control environmental pollution.
3. To develop skill for the recycling of wastage materials and
their uses.
4. To understand the significance of the environment through slogans,
Rallies, Exhibitions etc.
5. To conduct workshops on the preparation of models, exhibits
and such others necessary activities related to environmental
equilibration.
3. Red Cross Wing
On the fundament principles humanity, universal
and neutrality the activities of the Red Cross Society are conducted
throughout the year by the college. The college at its ease integrating
some of the activities. However, Blood Donation camps and other
related activities are being organized.

Practice Teaching is an integral part of the teaching
preparation. It is the heart of the B.Ed programme. It is organized
in the college with the help of the practicing schools identified
by the college. The students have to internalize the skills of the
teaching by the activity suggested below.

3. Exposure to Micro Teaching by Experts.
4. Practice of Micro Teaching skills in simulated condition.
